Why is TMO Landscape Studio different?

TMO Landscape Studio offers 3D modeling and 3D rendering services specifically for landscape architecture. Timo Hoogstra has a BSc in Landscape Architecture and multiple years of international experience as a landscape architect. With this background, he can understand your landscape design project as no other in this field of work.

Is there a satisfaction guarantee?
With a one-on-one 3D modeling and rendering service you’ll be guaranteed to get the 3D renders you are looking for. Before the start of the project, we’ll discuss your wishes and requirements for the project to make sure you’ll get what you want. Minor changes during the process are no problem of course.
How many revisions do I get?
As part of the satisfaction guarantee, minor revisions are already included in the standard project price. Major revisions in the 3D model or 3D renders, both during and after the rendering process will be quoted separately from the original project.
What are the terms of payment?
After agreeing on the quote for your project, the payment is split into two parts. The first payment is 30% of the total amount quoted and is paid upfront/invoice at the start of the project. The second payment is 70% of the total amount and is invoiced at the end of the project. Both invoices have a payment term of 15 days. The start and end date of the project are agreed upon before the start of the project.
Can you also render my architecture/interior?
Yes. If your 3D project includes any architectural elements or interior design, I will be able to include them in the 3D renders.
Do you use the 3D models and 3D renders for marketing purposes?
Yes. All 3D models and 3D renders can be used for marketing purposes of TMO Landscape Studio. If you explicitly do not want me to advertise with any of your 3D models or 3D renders, you may request me to sign a NDA, preferably at the start of the project.
Do you own the copyright?
Yes. The copyright on the 3D models and 3D renders is owned by TMO Landscape Studio. As a client, you may use 3D models and 3D renders for all kinds of purposes, such as marketing. You are however not allowed to sell the original 3D models or 3D renders or copies to any third party.
Do you keep the original files?
Yes. Unless you do not want me to. For every project I keep a back-up of in case you need any changes in the future, or I you lose any of the files. If you don’t want me to keep a back-up of your project files, you can request them, and I’ll send them to you.

3D modeling

How much does 3D modeling cost?

I apply a rate of € 45, – /hour for the 3D modeling service. Before the start of the project, you will receive a quotation based on the work on your project. Once agreed, the project starts, and the payment terms will be applied.

Is the 3D modeling a stand-alone service?
Yes. The 3D modeling service can be use independently to make a 3D model of your landscape design.
What does the 3D modeling process look like?
The 3D modeling process is split into multiple steps.
1. Get in touch with me to discuss your project.
2. After an initial meeting to project, you’ll receive a quote based on the discussed work on your project.
3. Once you agree on the quotation, you can share your design files so I can get to work. At this point you’ll also receive the first invoice. (See terms of payment).
4. I will build your 3D model and keep you up to date on the process. I will contact you as well whenever questions arise. You can also contact me at any point in the process.
5. Once the 3D model is built, I’ll share it with you to get your feedback.
6. Once your feedback has been processed and the 3D model has been updated, you’ll receive the final 3D model for approval.
7. When you approve the 3D model, we’ll finalize the project by sharing the original files for the 3D model, or, when you want renders as well, we continue with the 3D rendering process. If there are not 3D renders included, you’ll receive the final invoice. (See terms of payment).
How long does 3D modeling take?
The turnaround time for a 3D modeling project depends on your wishes and the requirements of your project. For example: small projects with low complexity take at least 2 to 3 working days. Medium projects with medium complexity take at least about 4 to 5 working days and large projects will take at least 7 to 10 working days. But again, all depends on your project. Before the start of the project, I will let you know how much time it will take, and we will set a deadline accordingly.
